How to Hang a Photo Collage

Last month I sent my family picture to Hello Canvas.

I am thrilled with the look and quality of the huge canvas they sent me!

I’m in the process of re-decorating my living room, and this canvas is the perfect addition to my family photo collage.

(I am still in LOVE with our family pictures this year- from Jessica Downey Photo)

The sizes I used were kind of random- I didn’t think I was going to use all of these together and I wasn’t sure what size I wanted the big picture to be, but when I got them all together, I actually really liked them grouped.

 The sizes are 4- 12×12′s, 1- 24×32 & 1- 20×30

Hanging several pictures in a straight line can seem a bit daunting, but the tip I will show you today should take your photo hanging fears away!

Simply add a small dot of toothpaste to the back of your picture where the nail(s) will go.

(Crest did not pay me for the above picture, though they totally should because it is the only toothpaste I will ever use and I could be a great spokesperson for them!)

Then, press the picture to the wall where you want to hang it so that the toothpaste from the back of your frame sticks to the wall.

Next, put your nail where the toothpaste is…

…and hang your picture!

I love the way it looks and I am so excited for this starting point in my living room re-do!

  2. This is such a great tip and I love your comment about being a spokesperson for Crest. Too funny! I’m hosting a bloglovin’ blog hop today until Sunday. If you get a chance stop by and link up. Bloglovin’ is a great tool that is similar to GFC so when it gets phased out I’ll still be able to read my favorite blogs (ie — yours)!

    • Color color color! I totally agree- that front room is in serious need of some color and I am on the hunt for the perfect rug, but first i need to finish my bathroom and then I will tackle the front room. When are you coming back to AZ to help?
