These easy-to-make Valentine’s Cinnamon Rolls are a festive and delicious way to start the morning with someone you love!

Last Christmas we tried the viral Tik Tok Cinnamon rolls that use refrigerated cinnamon roll dough as a hack for a delicious recipe. My family liked them so much that I’ve made them 3 or 4 times in the last 2 months! They’re simple and delicious and done in less than an hour… does it get any better than that?!
When I was at the grocery store last week, I noticed they had other flavors of refrigerated dough, including a strawberry version that would be perfect for Valentine’s Day!
My kids voted we make this our Valentine’s Day tradition – they loved them so much!
Here’s how to make them –
How to Make Valentine Cinnamon Rolls
INGREDIENTS –
for the dough:
- 1 tube (5 rolls) of Pillsbury Cinnamon Rolls with Strawberry and Cream Cheese Icing
for the filling:
- 1/2 cup heavy whipping cream – divided
- 3 tablespoons butter, melted
- 3/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
for the frosting:
- 1/2 8-ounce package of cream cheese, softened
- 2 tablespoons butter, softened
- 3/4 cup powdered sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
- pinch of salt
- Heart Shape Valentine Sprinkles, for garnish
DIRECTIONS
Start by drizzling 1/4 cup of heavy whipping cream on the bottom of an 8” baking dish, then lay the raw cinnamon roll dough in the pan.
In a small bowl, stir the melted butter with the brown sugar and vanilla extract.
Scoop a heaping spoonful of the sugar mixture onto the tops of each roll, spreading the mixture with the back of your spoon to cover.
Pour the remaining 1/4 cup of heavy whipping cream over the top, spreading to cover the entire baking pan, then bake them in the oven for 23-27 minutes or until golden brown and cooked thoroughly.
Meanwhile, make your cream cheese frosting by mixing all the ingredients with an electric mixer until light and fluffy.
When the cinnamon rolls have cooled just slightly, frost them with your homemade frosting, then melt the strawberry icing that comes with the rolls and drizzle over the top.
Sprinkle with sprinkles, serve warm, and ENJOY!!
Storage
Store any leftover cinnamon rolls in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 3-5 days. To reheat, place one roll in the microwave for 15-20 seconds.
This cinnamon roll hack just might be my favorite cooking hack I’ve ever tried! The cinnamon rolls taste homemade without all the extra effort – it’s amazing!
