Banana Berry Parfait

Mornings are always such a hectic time at our house! Getting everyone up and ready to head off to their various destinations for the day sometimes feels like a circus, and it’s especially hard to find time for a healthy breakfast. It’s important to me to send the kids off to school with full tummies and energy for the day ahead, but it’s often difficult to find healthy and delicious breakfast options that the kids will actually eat. We had the opportunity to try Nature Valley™ Toasted Oats Muesli recently, and it was a big hit with the whole family!

Banana Berry Parfait

Nature Valley™ Muesli is made with simple, wholesome ingredients, and is lightly sweetened. It comes in two delicious flavors, original and blueberry. I love the combination of toasted oats with dried fruit, nuts, and seeds. It’s a versatile and delicious breakfast that can be enjoyed in a variety of ways: soaked overnight in milk, as a hot or cold cereal, in baking, or (my favorite!) in a parfait with yogurt and fresh fruit. I made these delicious banana berry parfaits for my girls’ breakfast recently, and they both ate every bite!

Easy Banana Berry Parfait

INGREDIENTS:

for each serving:

  • 1/2 cup fresh strawberries, hulled and cut into quarters
  • 1/4 cup fresh raspberries
  • 1/2 banana, sliced
  • 1/2 cup vanilla greek yogurt
  • 1/4 cup Nature Valley™ Muesli

DIRECTIONS:

  1. In a small bowl or cup, layer half of the strawberries, raspberries, banana, and yogurt. Sprinkle with Nature Valley™ Muesli.
  2. Repeat all layers and enjoy!
