If you’re new here, every Thursday we get together to share our newest creations. It could be just about anything- A makeover, a project, artwork, a great recipe... I am not picky! Each weekend I will choose some of my favorite creations to highlight from the links submitted, so check back and see if the special spotlight is on you!

A year ago I would've described myself as not so much a jewelry lover. I wore my wedding ring, a silver ring on my right middle finger, one silver necklace my husband gave me when we were dating & I would rotate every few months between the 3 pairs of earrings I had. Now, however, I am LOVING jewelry! All of the sudden I am loving the variety of it- I love the simple silvers, but I also love the pops of color on some pieces or the ornate detailed engravings on others.

Whats Cookin' Wednesday- With my New Friend!

I am so excited for today's recipe! I was recently introduced to a fabulous new blog called "The Girl Who Ate Everything." My friend who told me about this site said she just tried the Honey Lime Chicken Enchiladas and in her words "they were so good I almost cried!"
I made these on Sunday for the entire family in addition to the other Enchiladas I normally make and they were the first ones gone! Christy is the author of this great blog. She uses fun humor in her posts, the recipes sound fantastic and the pictures are great! I knew right away I had to introduce you to my new favorite place to browse, so I emailed Christy and asked her to please be my guest. Lucky for all of us, she happily obliged! Here she is....

Hello everyone! My name is Christy and I am the girl doing all the eating over at THE GIRL WHO ATE EVERYTHING

I am diligently earning my name everyday one bite at a time.
When I was nine months pregnant with my 3rd son I was looking for the most indulgent dessert I could find for one last hurrah. If you are nine months pregnant you should be allowed to eat whatever you want, right? Well these babies did not disappoint. W-O-W! If you are a chocolate/peanut butter purest like me you will love these.

Brownie Peanut Butter Cups

3/4 cup granulated sugar

1/4 cup unsalted butter, softened

1 tablespoon water

3/4 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

1 large egg

1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 cup all-purpose flour

1/4 teaspoon baking soda

1/2 cup peanut butter chips plus about 1/3 cup more for garnishing

1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips plus about 1/3 cup more for garnishing

3/4 cup creamy peanut butter

Preheat oven to 350°. Spray or grease 12 muffin cups. *Or you can opt to do mini-muffin bites and cook around 8 minutes or until center comes out clean with a toothpick test.

In a large microwave-safe bowl, combine sugar, butter, and water. Microwave on high for 1 minute or until butter is melted. Stir in 3/4 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips until melted. Stir in egg and vanilla extract. Add flour and baking soda, stirring until blended. Allow to cool to room temperature. Then, stir in 1/2 cup each peanut butter chips and semi-sweet chocolate chips. Spoon batter by heaping tablespoonfuls into muffin cups.

Bake for 13-15 minutes or until top is set and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out slightly wet. Place pan on wire rack. Centers of brownies will fall upon cooling. If not, tap centers with the back of a teaspoon to make a hole.

Place peanut butter in a small microwave-safe bowl. Microwave on high for 45 seconds, then stir. While brownies are still hot, spoon about a tablespoon of peanut butter into the center of each brownie. Top with semi-sweet chocolate chips and peanut butter chips. Cool completely in pan.

Um, yum. I think I can smell these through the computer! I'm not 9 months pregnant (better not be ANY months pregnant or my husband is dead!) but I am going to indulge myself because I deserve it!
